Help Columbus Cares Kid Kits to Reach 3000 Families

Action for Children, Nationwide Children’s Hospital (NCH), The Ohio State University and Future Ready Columbus are collaborating to create 3000 Columbus Cares Kid Kits to distribute to under-resourced families using local NCH Close-to-Home locations. The purpose of the kits is to provide some guidance and relief to parents with children 5 and under during this challenging time. Our particular focus are those families that may be experiencing a disproportionate impact from the current pandemic conditions and may not have access to the array of options that are provided by virtual support. These kits will provide some much needed age-appropriate learning materials and educational literature about parenting during COVID-19. We appreciate any support you may be able to provide. Donations can be made through the Columbus Cares Kid Kits donation page which includes the Amazon Wish List page. We have also set up a Book Drive through UWCO to aid in collecting additional books for the kits.
