Dore highlighted in think tank webinar series

Dr. Rebecca Dore, Crane’s director of research, spoke earlier this year about young children’s media use during a webinar in a series sponsored by New America, a Washington-based public policy think tank.

“Many researchers have started to conclude that there’s actually little evidence for a recommendation to limit children’s media use to a specific set amount of time each day,” Dore said during one of two webinars on “Tablets and Teaching: Updates on Dos and Don’ts in Early Learning.”

The think tank recently featured Dore and her discussion on the research surrounding screen time by young children in a blog post summarizing the webinar series findings.
