Arya Ansari, PhD

Dr. Ansari’s research is focused on understanding how contextual factors influence the early development of children from disadvantaged backgrounds, with the aim of informing policies and intervention programs that can benefit such children. Dr. Ansari has previously worked on projects examining: 1) the utilization and benefits of early care and education programs for low-income and minority children; 2) the importance of parent engagement in early childhood programs; and 3) the role of children in shaping their own home and school experiences.
